The Agency have formal and informal sector programs
The Formal Sector Contributory Healthcare Program is designed for employees who have structured salary as follows:
- All Elected and Political Appointees of State and Local Government
- Katsina State Public Sector Employees (State, Local Government and SUBEB)
- Organized Private Sector (OPS) for organizations with a minimum of five (5) staff
- Tertiary Institutions Contributory Health Program (TICHP)
- Retirees

Scope of Coverage
The contribution for formal sector program cover an employee, a spouse and four (4) biological children below the age of 18 years.
Principals are entitled to register a maximum of four (4) extra dependents, upon payment of 9000 Naira only per annum per additional dependent subject to review by the Agency.
Waiting period: there shall be a processing/waiting period of 90days (3 month) before an enrollee can access healthcare services.
